Getting your Webhook URL

To obtain your Discord webhook URL, you need to be an Admin on the server. Next, navigate to the channel you would like the logs to post to. Click the Channel Settings button and, in the drop-down, select Integrations, then Webhooks and Create Webhook. Choose the webhook you just created (it will default to a name like “Captain Hook”), then hover over the selected webhook and select Copy Webhook URL. This is your URL, so copy it into your settings script for the webhook option.

Embed Settings

You can also edit the embed through the settings in the Chat Logs. You can make it look however you want or say whatever you want. To show the user’s username, put *.

Ignore Words

You can configure the system to ignore selected messages by adjusting the IgnoreWords section. This enables you to filter out any words or phrases the system should leave on read, such as “67,” ensuring the log remains focused and relevant.

Ignore Users

You can configure the system to ignore certain user ID’s by editing the IgnoreUsers section. This allows you to leave people that can’t stop saying “67” on read.
